Know the Council: TS CHE
No, this is not a Gujrati word but it is the name of the Council: Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE). Be prepared to read a lot of acronyms starting with TS followed by short-forms of the exam or the council!
So, coming back to the Council, TSCHE is an important part of the Government of Telangana that looks after the Higher Education in Telangana. One of the main jobs of the TSCHE is to ensure that entrance exams or Common Entrance Tests (about which you are going to read below) for admission to various disciplines are carried out in a timely manner.
Currently, the council consists of members who are also vice-chancellors of popular universities in Telangana like Satavahana University, Osmania University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University and Palamuru University.
